My alcoholic neighbour just called me white trailor trash

shes just renting the house next door and seems to have a problem with the fact that her son is not allowed to have everything his own way...hes about 13 years old.. can someone tell me what trailor trash is

Let's hope she moves away soon, in the meantime I'd keep out of her way if I were you.  Bet she doesn't admit she's alcoholic, you can't help feeling a bit sorry for her poor son.

She means you are the lowest form of poor white uneducated underclass junk living in the lowest type of trailer (caravan) on food stamps.  It's an American insult, worse than the British Chav because chav just means lack of taste (chavs can be rich celebs).  

If you can't move, stay well away and ignore her as best you can.

it means you are the lowest kind of the white race, by the sound of it she is the trash and sounds like you will have problems with her. in uk we call them chavs, the best thing to do is tell her you wish to have nothing to do with her or her child and any further harrassment will be reported to the relevant authorities. take a firm stand with this woman because if she see's weakness she will walk all over you.

It's an American term - I think it means roughly the same as chav.  Basically, what my mum would call "common as muck!"
