My almost 11 month old is drinking a sippy cup now with juice but recently is refusing her formula.

Question

I tried the formula in the sippy cup as well as her bottles, but just will not touch it. This just started 3 days ago. She is on soy formula, could maybe she just not like it anymore. Any ideas or suggestions?

My daughter was off formula completely at 6 months old. Our doctor said it was fine, as long as she was getting what see needed. She really didn't like the taste of it, but she was also introduced to other foods, cereal, and jucie at about a month old. She is 9 years old now and completely healthy! My son was the same way he is now 7. They are physically fit, and growing like crazy!

There are guild lines on everything these days, do what you think is best for her.

She doesn't like it anymore.  As long as she's getting a good solid diet she won't need it.

She is ready for regular food now. Ween her off the formula. I stopped giving my 22 month old formula during the day and gave her alittle at night and she was fine. My daughter never got used to baby jar food. I don't even remember buying much of that stuff. I think she went from formula straight to table food.

Leave the formula. Just go straight to the soy milk. Try flavors too. And ones with less or no sugar so that it doesnt interfere with her digestion.

You can stop using the formula now and just give her baby food (the jar kind like Gerber, anything pureed). My daughter did this too...eventually she got sick of the babyfood and refused to eat that too...that's when we switched her to table food cut up small.

If you are REALLY worried try callin her doctor! but your baby will be fine some babies do things faster than others and ur baby must feel shes ready to move on so dont worry!! if you have any questions email me at [e-mail]

looks like she is ready to weened off the formula... i would start giving her regular milk now. water and juices r good as well... when  they r ready for a change they always let ya know!

she doesn't need formula anymore, and she's letting you know that. switch her to whole milk.
