My amp is on but subs dont work?? help please thanks?

Question

hi i have 800 watt pioneer amp mono channel

and 2 12 rockford fosgate punch 1 (p1) subs

im using factory head unit

and i have an adapter installed to do so

i know the amp is on cause the light is on

but the subs wont work

sometimes

maybe once a day the would turn on, when playing music really low but then they just turn off

i checked the wires

the ground

i dont know what else to do

i was having a similar problem with my audio equipment. my box and my amp weren't bolted down so whenever i would turn somewhere, my ground wire would come just a little bit loose.  the best thing to do would be to disconnect everything and then reconnect as if you were hooking it up for the first time. is it possible your sub is blown?

check your rcas and the adapter

check ur ground...make sur u have a good secure grouind...thats probably the problem..if not then check the wiring of ur subs
