My amp light stays red?

Question

I turn my amp on an the light goes stright to red y could this be.

it was green them my speaker wire came out the amp. so i cut the amp off an placed it back in the amp. pluged the amp back in an the light is red . please help!!

my amp was workin perfectly fine when i got home but when i left again it jus quit and my amp was red..i thought i blew it or somethin then a couple of days later it was workin again then stopped like after 5 mins? and turned red again... and every now and thenn it works then it goes off?
