Question:

My amplifier fuse

i have 2 10" kicker subwoofers and a 1200watt sony xplod amplifier. the amplifier has 2 40amp fuses, and i was told i would need to rewire all my equipment to keep the fuse in my battery wire from blowing constantly like it does. is there any truth to this, or is it possible to just find a 80amp fuse from a car audio store of some sort?
