  1. You are certainly not a  direct descendent of Anne Boleyn, since she had one child, who died childless.  But you could still be related.

Anne Boleyn was the 2nd wife of Henry VIII, and was executed for treason.  Before she married him, she was a lady-in-waiting to Queen Catherine of Aragon, the first wife of Henry.  Before this she was the 2nd daughter of the English Ambassador to France.

She had one Daughter, who would later become Elizabeth I.

She was executed at the Tower of London for Treason on the 19th May 1536.

  2. i seriously doubt that you are one but if you are ,THATS SO COOL ,yea just go to wiki like the other guy said

  3. She can't be your ancestor, she had one child (Elizabeth I) who died childless.

  4. It is highly possible that you may be related to Anne Boleyn, however, you would not be her direct descendant but perhaps a distant descendant of Mary Boleyn.

The Boleyn sisters were members of the famous aristocratic Boleyn family, which enjoyed considerable influence during the early part of the 16th century. Mary and Anne were mistresses of King Henry VIII of England. Mary was already married to Sir William Carey when she became the King's mistress. A few years later, Anne returned from France, became Queen Katherine's lady-in-waiting and mistress of Henry and finally married him.

Anne Boleyn only had one daughter who became Queen Elizabeth I of England and died childless. However, there are many living descendants of Mary Boleyn.

Mary gave birth to two children (Henry Carey and Catherine Carey). Many historians speculated it was King Henry's illigetimate offspring with Mary. She later on married William Stafford and gave birth to more children.

Mary Boleyn is a distant ancestor of many notables including Winston Churchill, P G Wodehouse, Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, Diana, Princess of Wales, and Sarah, Duchess of York.

  6. Your ancestor cannot be Anne Boleyn because her only child, Elizabeth I, was a virgin for her whole life. If you want info on her, google Anne Boleyn.

  7. Google

  8. Rent the Tudors- that Showtime show. I watched it last season and it was fabulous.

But the others are right. If you are related to Anne Boleyn, you are also related to other Boleyns, probably closer because her only child never had kids. But there are tons of books written about that time of history simply because of the controversy. Do a search on Amazon.

  9. i had a roomate who was related to Anne Boleyn by marriage  until his divorce became final

  10. How your ancestor was Anne Boleyn is a mystery. Anne had six pregnancies, three of them miscarried and of the three children born only one, Elizabeth, survived childhood to become Elizabeth I, queen of England. The others died in infancy. This, it is now thought, was because Anne possibly had rhesus negative blood. Elizabeth herself was childless and the blood line die there. There are no known direct descendants of Anne Boleyn so your claim is probably spurious,.
