  1. its just like snappin ur knuckles......well it s no big deal but on long tern basis u cud suffer from romatism

  2. it likely has something to do with it, usually popping sounds from feet, fingers and wrists are like...tiny bubbles of gas popping or something, of course, I'm not a doctor I just barely remember this from a class I took a while ago

  3. My wrist does that, and I've met others who have the same thing happen.

I believe its just another phenomenon similar to popping your knuckles.  No one knows why it happens, it just does.

  4. nope, there is nothing wrong with it. mine does it because i am double jointed in my ankle along with my little brother but not my older brother. dont worry about it! :)

  5. yes, but it dosnt matter, as long as you continue playing soccer, youll be fine, if you stop your body will continue to "rust" as i like to call it, even though thats not even close to whats actually happening in your body.

  6. The cracking you hear when you are moving around is just the snapping and stretching of the tissue lining your joints - normally.  This can be heard more-so after strenuous activities.  Also, if you've had ankle injuries in the past, a popping sound is very common after ankle injuries.

However, if you experience a tendon snapping over one of your anklebones when you make quick cutting motions or walk down stairs, you may have a condition called subluxation or dislocation of your tendons. A subluxation is when your tendons jump out of their normal position and than move back. It's rarely painful and fixes itself generally right away.  A dislocation is when these tendons move out and you may have to actually push them back into place.  (You would definitely know if this happened, as you would be in a great deal of pain!)

Hope this helps a little.  You may want to try heat and cold therapy - switching from both for about 10 minutes each, every hour or two hours.  This will help keep the muscles fresh and flexible, allowing the joint to maintain flexibility.

    Good luck!

  7. No, Its Normal, Unless You Played You Never Had The Sound Before.

  8. Ive had the same popping in my ankle, went to the doctor, had an MRI that showed inflammation and a liquid build up (that made the pooping sound)

  9. In second and third degree ankle sprains, a tearing sensation, pop, or snap might be felt when the ankle rolls inward or outward. That, along with swelling and tenderness, happens because one or more ligaments that hold the bones of the ankle joint in place have been torn or completely ruptured. You cannot make a general statement about ankle sprains and popping or snapping sounds, but they are possible when the sprain includes torn ligaments.

Don't be alarmed by moving body parts that just make noise. That snap, crackle, and pop is pretty common, although our bodies seem to be noisier as we get older. More reliable symptoms of an injury or condition that need medical attention are tenderness, swelling, pain, loss of strength, and limited range of motion.

  10. My knees AND ankles make that popping noise, and my doctor said it's either because:

    you're growing

or you just have air trapped in your ankle for some weird reason

    Hope I helped!
