  1. Sounds like they are over-watered.  A plant will shed excess water if it has too much.  As for the flowers not coming through, have you tried giving them a feed?  That should give them the boost they need to flower.

    Good luck.

  2. Plants transpire in such a fashion to expel excess moisture.

It may be either that it is getting too much water or that the conditions are too humid for it.

It is just the plant's way of keeping its levels right.

I seem to recall that arums don't like excellent soil conditions - if it is in really rich soil it probably doesn't feel the need to flower - many plants only flower & fruit when they are put under a little stress.

  3. Believe it! Your anthurium is crying. It is missing your attention. You must "talk" to it at least two minutes a day and pass a piece of fabric in its leaves. I garantee the problem will pass ...

  4. Don't worry about the water on the leaves it means the plant is doing fine and is healthy. It's really releasing sap as an adaption of it's humid climated to got rid of acess moisture. However this sap can ruin wood finishes so move away from the expensive dresser. Maybe your room is a little damp for it.

You may need to put it in more sunlight to help it start flowering.
