  1. do u have a good filter pump? this is something u'd need; http://www.sera.de/fileadmin/images/prod...

you should also have a container of spare water and just take about one third of the water out every month and refill it with the water from the spare container.

u might also be feeding them too much they only need a pinch or two maximum twice a day.

i also recommend a placostomas (a sucker type of fish) these will eat the algi making the tank a lot cleaner:)

(clean the filter too when ur changing the water)

    Good luck

  2. well, your tank might smell really bad if one of your fish died, and you didnt find it, or you might have to clean your tank more often.

  3. Change the water completely, DON'T OVERFEED...this is the main cause. Put oxygenating plants in the tank.

  4. What size tank, what kinda fish and how many fish do you have?

    Maybe your tank is overcrowded.

First do a 30% water change. Make sure to use a Python kit for the most efficient cleaning process.

I don't know what kind of filter system you have but find the charcoal insert for it.

Charcoal will make the water clearer and the smell go away.

  5. add the water back turn the filter on. let it run. The cloud is not harmful to your fish. It will go away in like one hour. But if you are getting cloud after to week of having it you are probley feeding them way to much food. Try putting one little pinch In there if food is floating in the water after one or two min then you fed them to much. Only feed them ones a day. They tell you on the box and at the store to feed them like 3 times a day. Thats so you buy more products like filters and food and water cleaner and more fish. Because over feeding will kill your fish. Remember Fish in nature could go weeks without food.

Take a sample of water to a pet store a check your nitrate levels most places do it for free.

  6. lol first of all u make sure u have a filter to clean the water and second try changing the water again and warms can also make the water milky  take care                0_0
