I am 13 and in 8th grade at Middle School. Our assistant Principal is making us lose our ever loving minds! I am in a public school by the way. So he has had 40+ cameras installed in the halls and outside because we have a thousand people and our crowded so there are these trailer rooms outside. i understand the outside cameras in case of a break in or a kid bolting out of three but i mean come on! We are not allowed to chew gum, which i guess is ok. no flip flops. we can't nibble on food before checking out of the lunch line because it is considered stealing and you will recieve a detention. well im sorry that i eat at 6:00 a.m. so i an get on my bus that comes at 6:30 and not eat lunch until 12:50! there are these noise traffic light measuring devices in the cafeteria to measure our noise level and if it goes red a siron goes off. and the next day we can not talk during lunch. im a diabetic and drink a lot of water and i can not have a water bottle in my locker because hes afraid someone will kick it open and slip some alcohol into it. and the dress code is super long! our handbook of rules is 50 pages long and is in times new roman size 12! and another rule is the pda "hands off policy". because hes afraid a little hug will lead into us having s*x but we are aloud to slow dance at the dances? yeah he makes a whole lot of sense. yeah right buddy, sorry im a virgin. and were not aloud to sit with our other 8th grade friends at lunch who come in 10 minutes later because they have an academic 6th period and we have u.a. its so freakin stupid and the list is horendous and makes us want to scream! was your school like this? or is?

  1. Omg we had a principal like this. Demanded everyone be quiet in the lunch room like its a 5 star resturant. HELLO ITS SCHOOL KIDS HAVE BEEN CRAMPED IN CLASSES ALL DAY p**s OFF.

She was fired before the next year started. Seriously get a petition against him going. If you get enough students to sign it and show it to the school board some heads will turn.  Even better if you can convince the parents to join in on it.

  2. This is basically how middle school works.  You just have to live with it.  Don't worry, you will gain many more freedoms in High School.

  3. get over it. there are thousands of people that don't get the opportunity to go to school.  as for the diabetic problem- go to the nurse and set up a special exception and see her when you need water/food before or after lunch.

  4. okay hi.. yeah my vice principal was a creeper too.. a lot of what you said was enforced at my old school too. we didn't have cameras though that IS weird.. and we had carts with food in them once you get to the front of the line to pick from. so we didnt nibble on the food on the way to pay. we couldnt hold hands, kiss, touch or anything either. we couldnt wear flipflops either. i went to a public school too. and our skirts had to touch the tips of our fingers ot we ahd to wear PE clothes. and pants couldnt be low and such. we werent allowed to wear white tank tops... wth? anyway all i have to say is that those types of things get better in high school? we can where flip flops and kiss and touch so thats good.. anyway good luck with that nutcase and i hope you like high school better. by the way i am a sophmore now :D and its waaaaay better than middleschool in my opinion.

  5. And, have a stupid team thing that has no point and i'm on the Crusaders and all my friends are on the Titans.  And they make both teams sit on a certain sides of the cafeteria and I sit by myself at lunch.

  6. lol     wow    no
