My audio CD wont play on my computer

I baught this music CD about a year ago to this day it wont play on my computer. Everytime I put the cd in my desktop it plays for about 2 seconds (in windows media player) then stops.

I have iTunes and WMD on my computer. Does anyoone know a way to rip music from this audio disc.

  1. Some disks won't let you play it in a computer, because of theft. People rip the music, and stick it on limewire or burn copies. There is a way to do it, I've heard if you mark on the edge of the cd (all the way around) with a green marker, it will work. But I've not tried it myself.


  2. put it in your DVD ROM it will work trust me ^_^

  3. You should consult your HELP on your computer...but try seeing if your computer recognizes the CD at all!

    You can try using the WMP Rip section OR try finding a free one on the internet...
