One way to make your own ringtones is through a program called Audacity. You can download this for free on download.com.

1. Drag the audio file that you want a ringtone of from your music library (you might have to convert the file to mp3 format if it was from a CD) to the audacity icon.

2. Cut it down to a clip (length of clips allowed varies by phone). 3. When you have to clip that you want, go to File and export it as a WAV file.

4. Convert the WAV file to MP3 format.

5. Use a data cable to put the file on the phone.
