My audio doesn't work on Yahoo IM, but it works everywhere else?

It says this computer does not support the required audio compression format. I don't understand what that means. The sound works outside of yahoo chat. I can hear the audibles and stuff like that but it doesn't let me hear those who have mics.

The problem mostly occurs in Windows Vista but Xp users can also try the method mentioned below:

and Install

Then Run again.

Then Next ...

And your ready to Go

Voice should now work on Yahoo!

You will need to install above Codec first if not already Installed.

You may need to Re-Install messenger again if it dont work 1st time and re-boot your computer

Many people reporting voice is working with Vista Home

and new version of messenger V8.1.0.416 out on August 21 2007

Or higher versions out after that date
