Question:

My audio system causes my cd player to short out ..turn off ..??

i have a kenwood deck ..not sure of any specs ..it came with the car ..i need to put my pioneer deck in asap tho ..and it runs back to a 40wx2 sony amp ..and it has two 10" subs in there i believe ..i plan on upgrading everything eventually ..it came with that setup ..but my problem is everything can handle power ..but once i get to volume 20 ..or if the bass hits too hard ..my kenwood deck shuts off ..then turns back on ..i dont know if thats the amp not able to handle ..or if the deck is just junk ..or what ..anyone with any ideas let me know ..thanks

  1. Check your battery and see if the power and ground cables are clean and tight. If so ,then check the  voltage on your battery when you have the radio  up that loud. You may have alternator probs. also check the power and ground on your headunit.


  2. a friend used to have a problem like dat and  it was because he was forcing the amps check the ohms and make the subs and speakers match with the amps hope dis helps
