My baby chicks are picking on each other. Advice?

Yeah, theres one bully chick thats picking on

the other baby chicks, it doesn't look healthy for the

other baby chicks so i'm worried. any advice?

  1. Pecking (cannibalism) usually is a sign of overcrowding.  You can also separate the bully from the others, but they need more room.  Also isolate the injured ones from the others, or that will promote more pecking.  A chick can't resist pecking on another chick with an open sore or bloody spot.  A small amount of pecking is normal to establish hierarchy.  Thus the phrase "pecking order".  


  2. Separate him from the others, at least for a while.  

  3. sometimes that happens but they usually stop, if your really worried then separate them for a while...
