My baby is only 14 months old, she has started to walk and very active. What I'm worry about that she doesn't eat much, just 5-6 tea spoons every eating time. I thought my baby didn't hungry because of milk, that's why I gave her only have 3-4 bottles a day of 200 ml. Is it still too much or is there anything I can do? FYI... her weight only 9.5 kg. Please advice...

  1. You might want to talk to your doctor about this.  My daughter is 8 months old and eats 3 bottles a day but 2 of them are 8oz and the last one is 9oz.  She also eats a jar of stage 2 foods and 3 jars of stage one foods.  How long as this been going on? If its a one day thing then I would not worry.  If this has been going on for a few days and she is losing weight then a doctor is your best bet.

  2. What type of milk are you giving her?  Is it formula or HOMO?  I would talk to your doctor about ensuring that she gets the right amount of calories.  I know the struggles of a baby that doesn't want to eat.  I am tortured by it everyday.  My son is 8 months old and weighs 15 lbs.  He is 72 cm so he looks extremely thin. I get rude comments from random people about him being thin.  What can I do though he pushes the bottle and sippy cup away.  I am forced to sleep feed him.  He is also on higher concentrated formula and microlipids added to his formula.  He has congenital heart disease which is one of the reasons, but if you find the magical answer let me know.
