My baby eyes becoming red ,she is 5 months old can i use eye drops for it ,will there be any side effects ?

For a 5 month old you do not need to be taking advice from people on line. You need to consult the child's pediatrician, who may send you to a pediatric ophthalmologist. No one here can effectively diagnose your baby's problem and therefore give you truly safe advice.  

No offense to anyone that did, when it comes to infants I don't believe in s******g around with home remedies. Why take chances with your child, consult the doctor, it's what they do and would rather you call them before something worse happens.

you cant put eyedrops in a little babies eyes! you have to take him to the doc asap.

YOU folks are NUTs -

trying to self prescribe to an infant ?

NOW - as for those that say - RUN to the ER - I THINK THAT IS also NUTS in this case - since this is not LIFE threatening - ( plus it just adds to the cost of health care in general ) - those visiting er's for non life threatening issues ) -

anyways - THERE should be NO reason why your child does not have a PCP doc - PICK up the phone and call - !! - I am sure they will either get you something to get thru the night - and be seen in the am - or direct you to meet them at the office - or meet them at the hospital -

and for some crazy reason you can not get a hold of your kids md - GO to a walk in center - NOT THE ER !

MY god - help some folks with some common sense -

I would recommend both eye drops and oral antibiotics, it is very sad if the baby develop complications because of trachoma!! I can't reach a final diagnosis but give topical and oral antibiotics to be on the safe side....

the ocurest sterile for sensitivity eye I don't think that have side effect.

but cold water is the best way to treat that specially she is a baby????
