Question:

My baby has EXTREMELY oily skin on his face. What can I do?

My one month old baby had terribly oil skin on his face. It looks like someone rubbed cooking oil all over his face, all the time. His poor little face is also covered in little black and white heads (I know it's normal for babies to have them - but he has ALOT). I have tried gently rubbing his face with a dry and wet washcloth and washing his face with baby wash, but it hasn't touched it.

Is there anything else I can do? Will it go away on it's own?

  1. I would just keep cleaning it and whiping it down. His face will clear up. You might want to mention it to your doctor during his next checkup.
