My baby has what look like pressure sores on her neck...?

i dont think they are pressure sores, but am unsure what they are. she's 7 weeks old. they are only on her neck. one of my friends thought it could be moisture getting stuck between the skin folds because thats where they are... any other ideas or remedies??? please help!

idk bout ure Q. but i hope shes/hes okay. and goodluck with her babies are soo sweets!

make sure that the area is kept dry, such as after baths, sick, or even when they cry some tears can creep down there... also do you use soap or anything in her bath? sometimes that can dry out the skin and create sore points, i was using johnsons for months and my daughters skin got so dry and she had the same thing.. i told my health visitor and she told me to stop using bubble bath and if he skin was dry use some olive oil!! sounds crazy but it worked a treat.. i would suggest you go to see the health visitor just to be sure, but i think its fine!!

Put baby powder on it...this helped sooo well for my baby.

Don't worry - My daughter had the exact same thing!  My pediatrician call them something 'kisses'  I can't remember exactly.  They are completely normal!  They eventually do go away - but I remember them being around for a while.  Ask your ped at your next wellness visit - she'll probably tell you the same.  ;-)
