My baby is 1 year and 45 days old?

and she is still a breast fed baby.altho she takes her meals regularly but she needs to suck while sleeping and there's no other way she sleeps..have tried but all in vain...but in a way im happy that whenever she is not feeling too well and doesnt take her meals then atleast my milk is there to fill her tummy...but i want to wean her off...is any one going thru this whose baby doesnt sleep without sucking????thanks

What about a dummy (soother, pacifier whatever you want to call it). Our 2nd kid had a similar problem until we gave him a dummy at night.

My baby weaned off at 13 months.  I was sick with the flu, so my mother came over and he slept with her for 2 days.  When he came back to me, he was weaned.
