is it normal for her to go days without going for a poo, although her stools are soft she can wait 3 or 4 days without going.

my health visitor wasn't much help and pretty much dismissed it as me as an overreacting parent.

  1. No,it's not normal. Babies should p**p much more often. She might be constipated, but then she'd be crying too.

    Consult your pediatrician.

  2. Actually it is VERY normal. Babies can safely go up to one week without going p**p. Lots of babies skip one or two days. Do you go p**p everyday? Don't be worried!

  3. Some kids are like that.  It may continue on throughout your childs life.  Everyone is different.  As she gets older you can add fiber to her diet and that might help.

  4. It's not normal - you should give her something to speed up her digestion as if the excrement is left to accumulate, intestinal toxins spread to the rest of the body (and this is the cause of numerous illnesses).

If she's in any pain/discomfort after 3 days of not doing, give her an infant size glycerine suppository.

  5. not to worry much, unless your baby cries of some tummy discomfort.formula fed babies have this problem.as your child will be into solid food try giving dal rice or mixed vegetable rice just bland with a little salt and tomatoes pressurecooked and mashed.try bananas, but not apples.may be some cummin seeds just thrown into boililg water and filtere that in a few minutes and allow the kid to sip that water luke warm.sometimes orange juice fresh and homemade, helps
