My baby is moving and twitching for about one hour before sleeping!

My 11 week old son has been having difficulty settling in order to sleep. He would be so sleepy, sleeping on me or in his crib, but he would be moving his head left to right, his arms up and down. I can see that he wants simply to be asleep, but keeps on moving. At some point he stops, but then another twitch will wake him up soon. These twitches resemble the ones newborns usually have while sleeping. Can it be his nervous system still developing, his hands, his digestion....? should I be worried?

my son did the exact same thing.he had head ultrasounds and head thing,sorry but i cannot for the life of me remember the name but its where they put a whole bunch of wires on his head and everything came back clear.but he actually stopped doing all those movements about a month and a half ago and now he is fine.

if you are worried it don't hurt to take him to the doctors but.

my son turned out to be fine in the end.
