My daughter turned a 1yr old on July 28th. She has been strictly breastfeed & I planned to continue atleast till she was 18 months (longer if she would let me). She's gone from feeding once in the morning, one before nap & once before nap time (she drinks water, cow's milk & some juice during the day from a cup) to not really wanting to breastfeed at all. I'm not ready for this yet. Any ideas on how I can cope with her weaning herself completely.

  1. She may just be ready even though your not.

  2. Maybe she's not weaning. Could it be a nursing strike? Most babies won't wean until at least 18-24 months.

  3. i think you should just let her go for it she is ready to drink from a big girl cup, so let her go ahead

  4. You should be proud. You have raised a girl who is ready to be a little more independent!
