My baby is sick. Can somebody Help Me?

My 1 year old Shih-Tzu was spade last Friday 8/29/08. She has refused to eat all weekend and refuses to drink any water. She has not pooped all weekend either. She is not playing as usual but I figured she must be sore. I am really worried about her.

The vet will not be in until in the morning. Do you think I should call an emergency number.

first try to feed her by hand and if she still wont eat get her into the car and go to another vet that is open today to get them to examine her and find out why she is not eating.  I know from experience that she will still be sore from the surgery but she would still eat and drink water but just not really want to play still after 4 days.

If you are unsure then ring if there is no big problem then it's only money you have lost.  If you do not ring then you will never forgive yourself.

Personally i know all my dogs very well and we know exactly when it is time to go to the vets and when to wait it out.

no stay calm all  shih-tzus are stubborn or she is sick try to see a vet

I would wait a little and try to feed her by hands, and try to get her to drink water, if she refuses then call and ask, see what they say!
