Can you give me an idea what to do for him for his party? We are having something small and intimate for the family only, but I want to make it really special. He's my fourth baby and the last one, so I would like it to be very nice. Any tips.

  1. Do a cook out and enjoy the day with him. Maybe if people want to bring something. It could be their favorite childhood story book. Then a regular gift if they wish. Get a few balloons and have a blast.

  2. I have TWINS! They are 5 now but for their one -year old party, I did a cookout. I had a clown/magician come to the house. I had alot of kids cousins. They loved it! If he has a favorite character( winnie the pooh, spider-man, etc.) they will dress up like that character. LOOK ON-  LINE for where you live! My cousin did that and it was cute. She had Winnie the pooh. The kids loved it and so did the birthday boy! You can get ballons at the dollar store and have the character give it to each child! The birthday child will get a mylar balloon! I did a ice cream cake with their picture on it. Carvel does that! It was cute! Or stick to your THEME(favorite character) and buy a cake from BJ's or cotsco wholesale club is cheaper! Also food from there is cheaper because you buy in bulk! Another idea is have a bouncy house! If it's nice weather- you can do a kiddie pool and play some games! Get a pinata. That's fun! GOOD LUCK!
