  1. Nothing really you can do.  Sometimes walking around will soothe them and put them to sleep or make them settle down, but he may get right back to it when you sit down.  My daughter rarely kicked while I was up and about but when would try to relax she'd go crazy in there too!

    Congrats!

  2. Why would you want him to stop kicking?  If he were to stop kicking there would be something wrong.

  3. lol you must be the only pregnant woman i've heard not liking their baby kick.....i love to feel my little one moving around in there, it makes me feel secure and content that my baby is happy and healthy.. i even sometimes tap my belly to get her moving cause i love it so much lol... plus i'm 39 weeks and i know its all going to be over soon and i'll miss these moments i had while she was in my tummy.

  4. Do you eat a lot of sugar (natural fruit sugar or processed) or caffeine?

  5. Try playing some classical music for him (babies can hear). Take a deep breath and relax yourself. If you are in a busy or stressful situation your baby might feel stressed and alert.

Oh, and when he gets older, you can enroll him in a soccer class. :)

  6. Dont think you can do ne thing..... hes gonna kick if he wants LOL cant stop him

  7. Aww He's just letting his mommy that he's there. Enjoy it. x*x

  8. The kicking wont stop lol.....you may get a small break after birth but it will come back..My son is 13 months and he loves to kick..not to be mean but for play...good luck with baby...

  9. Awwww, I miss those days!  OMG, I would have never thought I would ever say that, lol

I know it's uncomfortable, but enjoy it.  You will miss it when they are actually here and you don't feel it anymore.

  10. When I was pregnant I would sit in a comfortable chair, put my feet up and listen to slow, calming classical music.  I would also lightly rub my belly.  I would feel my baby wiggle a little then he'd calm down.  Also try to be consistent by doing this around the same time every day.  I did this two to three times a day at the same time everyday and I don't know if it was coincidence or something else, but when my boy was born, he had like this little internal clock or something because he'd go to bed about the same time every night, woke up about the same time every morning and napped about the same times everyday.  It is also said that having your baby listen to classical during pregnancy and after they are born, can stimulate their brains and keep them calm.  My son is now 15 and is the gifted program at school and has been since he was in 2nd grade.  He is in the top ten percentile of his sophmore class.  Just something to think about.

  11. No I don't think there's anything to do about it. Little guy has a mind of his own and they're very active at this point..I'm also 7 months. All I can suggest is try to enjoy it because pretty soon he won't be in there to feel those little kicks...and you know if he did stop moving so much it would freak you out.

  12. OH MY GOSH i MISS THAT SO MUCH!!! Honey just enjoy it. But if you are in a social situation it doesn't seem  likely he'll stop. He is probably reacting to the noise and I am sure your eating which pumps up your blood sugar and his also. My daughter would never kick for anyone. Not even Daddy. But as soon as I would go lay dawn to rest she would start. And she was all over the place. I loved it, it was our own special time together. I miss that but I am breastfeeding now and when she's tired I'll go lay down and feed her and it's just quiet and she'll look at me until she falls asleep. It's perfect...

Anyways... :)  Just enjoy it. And if people notice ask them if they want to feel. People love that and some will jump at the chance because they are so curious. Surprisingly there are people who haven't felt the movements of a baby while he/she is in the "cave", lol.....

  13. is there a time of day that baby seems to rest?  what are you doing during this time of day?  unfortunately unless chilling out yourself works I don't think there is anything to be done.  But you haven't got long to go.  And it sounds like you will have an active, healthy baby at the end of all this, plus maybe a bruised rib or two:)
