My baby red eared slider has gotten swollen eyes and has stopped eatin.?

i used sea cod liver oil. his eyes have opend but he still doesnt eat. its 2 days since.... what do i do as i cant take him to a vet.

There are several reasons for swollen eyes in a turtle. If the problem cleared up when you fed it cod-liver oil, it is likely that the problem was a vitamin A deficiency. Only a specialized vet can be sure. To get it eating again, offer it some small live earthworms. Once it is eating, try feeding it strips of liver as part of its diet. That will provide all the fat-soluble vitamins needed. If you  dust the liver in bonemeal, you can provide the calcium needed for bone growth. You might also try raising the temperature in the tank a bit.

ok let him swim in salt water for about a hour a day for a week clean the tank my turtle had the same problem but i took care of it it should heel within a week hope the best for your turtle
