My baby starts Kindergarten tommorow?

Don't worry! You should be happy for your baby! Just relax and have a cup of tea and then congratulate your baby so he'll feel great that he's going to Kindergarten!

well, if your child was a baby, she/he wouldn't be going to K tommorow.  your child is a kid now not a baby.

Don't show any anxiety you may be feeling to your child. Treat her to a special breakfast tomorrow, keep talking up about what a big girl she is to be going to kindergarten and how much fun she'll have there meeting new friends and learning to do new things.   When you drop her off, go in, meet the teacher, make sure she gets settled in ok where her things go and then do a quick hug and kiss and tell her you'll be back to get her when school's over.  Be sure you leave your name phone and cell phone number with the teacher in case they need them on an index card (just in case).

When you get back to your car and pull out of the parking lot then you can lose it :)  When you pick her up, pull it together because you don't want her to see how it affected you. Ask about her day and her teacher, what they did, etc.. I'm sure she'll be full of news and chatter from her first day. :)

Hang in there, it's just another milestone in life for kids. She'll do fine!

my baby starts pre school tomorrow, she is looking forward to it, i'm not. i work in a nursery school, so i know she will be fine, but i am the one leaving the child tomorrow.

your child will love it, and will be home after a few hours, enjoy the peace, it will fly by.

I know how you feel!  My 4 - year - old starts school on Friday, and I'm already weepy about it!  Try to hold it together until she's gone, and then cry if you need to.  After that, enjoy a few hours of alone time - go for a walk, drink your coffee in peace, etc.  She'll have fun, and you'll eventually come to enjoy a little break to get things done.  Good luck, and I hope your daughter has a great first day!

It's just kindergarten... they will be home in the afternoon. I don't know why all these moms are so sad about kindergarten, I just started college and my moms been bawling like a baby because she no longer sees me everyday. Your son or daughter will have so much fun and you shouldn't worry about him or her you have a long time before they leave home enjoy every moment of everyday because it goes by way too fast.

Mine is too!!  I've been through this with my older son though, and I have to say its an exciting time.... there is so much growth in kindergarten, its so amazing and exciting to see.  You'll get through it!

Good luck and try to hold back the tears until he is inside.... and know that every other mother is doing the same.  :)
