My babys p***s is red around the pee hole and the head is purple?

When we pull the forskin back to clean it we noticed its red around the pee hole and the head is purple? is this normal? he is uncircumsized>>

Well how far did you pull the f******n back? As in just smoothing the skin out so that it wasn't a big wrinkled skin blub, or removing the f******n?? If you actually separated it from the p***s head, that would explain why! But if you just smoothed the skin out and noticed it, then not sure and maybe you should call the doctor to ask an opinion! I don't remember my son's doing that!

Oh and if you did remove it from the p***s head, you are aboslutely not suppoed to do that and it could cause bad trouble! So in that case, get him to the doctor immediately!

The glans is often purple/red but I'm a bit confused as to why you're pulling the f******n back. It's attached to the glans on infants and it isn't necessary to pull it back to clean. I'm not sure how old your son is or if his f******n has already naturally detached. But if you have to force it back, then stop!

I know my son's was purple also when we brought him home and he was circumcised i think it is normal. you could talk to your doctor about it next visit.

my son is circumsized and a few months ago.. i had a similar situation. it was red when i pulled back to clean it, and the tip was blue/purple.. his ped said its normal, at first i wasnt cleaning it right... but now i know how and its still lightly blueish/purple.. just make sure u clean it right and if u use baby powder clean it off too
