Since your mom left you there, you have shown her that you are responsible enough to take care of yourself for a few minutes while you wait for the babysitter.  Call your mom and tell her that the sitter is still not there.  Your mom will definitely want to know.  Your baby sitter has a responsibility to be there on time, so your mom will need to know about things like this.  She might also want to try to call a friend or a neighbor to check on you, so definitely call your mom.

I think you should watch one of your favorite movies, or tv shows while you wait. Get dressed, brush your hair, brush and floss your teeth, tidy your room and bathroom and then just hang out and watch something you like.

But call your mom first.

You need to put more details. Are you needing a sitter for yourself or are you watching someone's child? If she is running late for your child and if it was me I would tell her/he  she is fired. This just shows the babysitter isn't responsible. She/he always needs to be on time and if they are running late have the respect to call and say so. Be careful and good luck.

Seeing that it's almost 9 now and you said in your last question that your mom already left--I think I would call your mom ASAP and find out what she wants you to do.  Is there a neighbor you can visit while you wait?  How old are you?  I'm not sure it's a great idea that your mom just left--you need to call her.
