  1. If money is the problem and you are on Centrelink benefits you can be treated as an emergency patient at the local Goverment dental service.

leaving it like this can lead to infection.

How far out of town are you - is there a nearby Government dental facility - work the day's drive there and back

  2. Take ibuprofen to reduce inflammation (if you're over 18-years-old, 800mg is safe but THE limit) and orajel can also help.  As for the roughness, most pharmacies sell bonding material in their dental section. You can try drying your tooth with cotton and putting some over the rough parts and hope it dries with a smoother texture until you can get to the dentist.  I really hope this helps.  I know it's not pleasant!

  3. Ok.  for the pain take Advil ( Ibuprofen 400mg)-so as long as you do not have any medical reasons that prevent you from using it-.

For the roughness and chipping im sorry that will stay till you get to a dentist.  However,  if you go to a store that sells toothbrushes and other oral hygeine products you can sometimes find " Ortho wax". It is clear wax, usually used over braces to make it smoother. Try putting that on the  broken tooth ( get the tooth dry, change daily AFTER you brush your teeth at night,  its ok to swallow if you accidentally do in the night).

Please brush it, use a toothpaste for sensitivity and a salt water rinse after meals will do it good :)

    Hope this helps

  4. Best to see a dentist as fast as possible.but until then dont be afraid to brush that area.if you donot gum will swell and give you more pain .best thing is to keep that area clean as possible.Taking a pain killer like Mefanamic acid 500 mg bd might alleviate the pain.

  5. try to take it easy on that side where you have a broken tooth.keep it clean. take pain medication.go see a dentist that takes your insurance.
