My background on my youtube page won't show up!!?

I had a background picture on my youtube page and i wanted to change it. So when i tried to get the picture i wanted as my new backround pic, it wouldnt show up!! i tried again and again and still nothing!! i thought it might be the picture, but every single picture i tried to upload as my background wouldnt show up!! i even waited a day to see if the picture would show up and nothing!! Why wont it let me upload a picture for my backround?!?!?

Are the pictures on your harddrive or on your personal webspace? You shouldn't copy a url onto a webpage unless it's using your computer space. Direct linkage usually disables the url from working.

It could also be that the pics you're using are too big.
