My badminton net is getting stuff on it.?

it is white and hard but when u run your nail on it. it is slimmy. does any one have a guess what it is

When did you get it? maybe it is a gum or other liquid things. Clean it by pouring hot water and brush it.

If it has been exposed to water than it is the materials it has been made from, probably an outer coating to protect it.
