Question:

My bamboo plant turned yellow, please help (not too much water)?

Actually, I had not watered for... about 25 days. Yes I know it is sad, but I didn't get to cover it with saran wrap unfortunately.

But I did have it getting sunlight over this period. Thought it would like some sun at least.

Now... I have three upright stalks that are still green, the stem that is, but their branches are kinda yellow, the very tops still being green.

Is this salvageable? Do I need to chop down that yellow part (along with the green top therefore) after it grew for like 2 years? :(

The other stalk is yellow, and halfway up that thick stalk is still yellow and then the top half is green. Is this salvageable? I found that stalk on my desk totally down.

Please help guys!

Thanks for good answers.

  2. Maybe you can get some useful information from here.

I would go back to normal routine and see what happens.

    As always less is best.
