My banana kingsnake died?

my red tail boa bit me and my mom made me get rid of it so we traded it away for a banana kingsnake and 3 days after we got it, it just died and i dont know why becuase the temp in the cage i kept it in had a good temp inside what other things could have killed it for it to be my fault and i mean like diseases i coulda given it or something not becuase something stupid like the cat killed it cause it has no flesh wounds

if you had heat on it.  internal parasites.  if you get another dont put heat on it.  they are from a similar climate to about room temp

if the king snake died in a matter of three days, it was probably not something you did but it's prior care. Unless you are really doing some physical harm to the king snake, it's tough to kill it w/in three days. It's not your fault from the sound of it and you need to go back to the person that traded it to you and get your money back. Most pet stores have a 7 day guarantee on everything they sell. They usuallly need to see the body. If it was just a trade w/ a person, a boa is worth more than a king snake and they traded you a sick king so I would have a talk w/ that person.
