My bath has flooded the house?

Question

I forgot i was running a bath, and went to my friends house for the night. When i came back to my own house there was water dripping everywhere and the ceiling is bulging. Im now at my mums, i dont know what to do. Do you think my house insurance will pay out? Or will they say the damage is delibrate? It was a genuine accident! How much is an electrician and plasterer likely to cost? I'm self-employed!

go under your house, break the water main, run, and then say your house flooded and you didn't know because you were at someone elses house. Easy money!

you will have long lasting mold damage.  Remember Hurricane Katrina and New Orleans.  They had to evacuate.  Get out fast, call demo crew and then rent a FEMA trailer.
