  1. You need to get him to a vet, this sounds like MBD (metabolic bone diease), it is mostly reversable.  He'll need better lighting and diet, the vet will help you decide what to change.  Make sure that you tell the vet eveything that you have done to help your guy and what he is keep in, and on, his diet now, temps, humidity, lighting, if possible also try to take a stool sample for testing to make sure there are no parasites or worms.  Good luck'

  2. you need a uv light calcium powder is not enough uv lights are not as strong as the sun so they need both

  3. ok even if an animal is given supplements without UVB the reptile is unable to utilize vitamin D3. vitamin D3 regulates the calcium metabolism in your reptile. most reptile

species are unable to utilize dietary vitamin D3, they must have access to UVB. Lack of UVB can cause metabolic bone disease. Which might be what your are experiencing with your reptile. Some symptoms of MBD is tremors, jerky movements-twitching in the muscles of the legs and toes, weakness and even partial paralysis of the legs. This sounds like what might be going on. Also an animal with MBD can have softening and swelling of the jaw,  arched spine or bumps along bones of spine, bowed, or swollen legs, or bumps on the long bones of the legs. Keep in mind those are symptoms of a very advanced case of MBD. metabolic bone disease is easy to prevent by not easy to treat. The only way to effectively treat it is to have a reptile vet inject calcium and monitor the reptile. Along with husbandry changes.

  5. It depends on how old the bearded dragon is and if it is only a baby you might have to buy some calcium to coat the crickets in every time you feed them otherwise you will hav to take it to a vet.

  6. lol thats kinda cute :P

take the little fella to a vet n get him checked out... or google it.

  7. He's retarded... duh... JKJK. You should contact a vet. He could have gotten hurt some how.

  8. Do you give him calcium supplements??  It kinda sounds like a calcium deficiency..my beardie had that problem when I first got him.  I took him to the vet because he was walking funny (I thought he had a broken leg)..then he started having seizures!!  It turned out all he needed was calcium powder on his food.  Now he's 4 years old and the healthiest beardie our vet has ever seen!!  If you do use calcium, I would call the vet ASAP.  If not, start powdering his food and hopefully everything should work out.  Good luck!!

  9. has his chin changed colour and does his head bob up and down if so he is horny and wants a playmate

  10. He definitely needs UV! Go straight out and buy a reptile safe UV light (they have special glass which doesn't filter out the necessary UV rays like regular glass does.)

Take him to the vet and see whether they can reverse the damage that has been done.

I don't mean to sound nasty, but you really should have researched the needs of your dragon before you got him! In the wild, dragons spend about 8 hours a day in sunlight and rely on it for their health. Your laziness has led to a painful and possibly fatal condition for your pet.
