My bearded dragon is 7 months old now, and I was wondering how many crickets I should be feeding him.?

I am feeding him 8 to 9 crickets, 4 days a week. The other days he eats a salad. Is this enough....too much..?

It really depends on your dragon.  You should feed him as many as he can eat in 15-20 minutes.  You will probably have to play around a little and give him more than you think he can eat in this time and then take the rest out after 20 minutes, and then next time you will know about how many he can eat.  As for feeding him crickets 4 days and salad 3 days, that is perfect.  Oh and make sure you are dusting the crickets with a calcium supplement.  Keep up the good work!

it all depends on the size of the crickets and the size of your dragon. when my dragons are 7 months, they're typically eating medium to large crickets and they will take 12-18. What kind of crickets are you feeding the dragon and what is the size of the dragon? Size is more important than age.
