Question:

My bearded dragon is going insane!?

Ok. I have a male bearded dragon, fully grown, about 3 or 4 years old (can't remember exactly when I got him, but he was a baby). He's a little more aggressive than I'd like, but other than that he's always been fine. However, he's been acting a little agitated lately and just today he's been doing some really ******* weird stuff. He did a nose-dive off this big branch that he usually sits on and landed face-first on the bottom of the tank with a loud thud (there's substrate on the bottom, but it only covers maybe an inch and under that is just glass) because he was trying to catch a cricket he saw at the bottom. After that he was randomly attacking these pieces of egg crate that are in there and just a few minutes ago he went to the top of his branch and twice jumped up and bashed into the cover of the cage right beneath the heat lamp. The second time he knocked stuff off the top of the cage! What could his problem be??? He's never acted this ridiculous before.

  1. He probably wants to come out. Mine will do that. I bring him out and he is fine. I put him in again and he is satisfied. Try Taking him out and stroking him. How big is the cage? How long is he?
