My belly button/navel is really weird...?

Okay, I was thinking of getting a belly button piercing... The only problem is that my navel is concave but it has a little "fleshy" part in the middle (it is smaller than a skittle, or a tiny button). It is very sensitive and looks weird. Do you have any idea what it is? or if it can prevent me from getting a piercing? Please, help me.

If you push on it, does it feel like you are pressing on a water baloon as it goes in and out? You could have a hernia. I have one.If it doesn't hurt... no problem. If it hurts you should have it fixed by the doc.

Okay, I love belly button piercings... but if your skin is really sensitive then I don't think it would be a good idea in the first place.  You could get a infection and also if you are on a sports team then you have to take it out.
