My belly button piercing?! Help!?

I want to change my belly button piercing so much! I have had it for 3 monthes now, do you think i have waited long enough? It doesn't hurt, and its no longer red. How do you know when you can change it?

  1. Okay, be exTREMEly gentle pulling it out.  Wiggle it around a little bit first to make sure you aren&#039;t going to pull off any skin when you take it off.  I&#039;d suggest wiping the other ring off with an alcohol wipe to disinfect it before you put it in for safety&#039;s sake.  I know a friend of mine took 6 months to heal, it depends on your body.  


  2. Yes, you can change it.

    Be careful though, belly button piercings heal more slowly on the inside.

  3. it doesn&#039;t matter if it looks healed or not, if its been 6 weeks..you can change it. if you had it in for 3 months, i think its safe to change it :)

  4. if you have no pain and it&#039;s been 3mts. now first apply hydrogen peroxide to the area before and after your exchange. This procedure will prevent any risk of infection to the area. It won&#039;t hurt at all.Do this every now and then following, just to ensure proper cleansing of that area. hope this helps you good luck..

  6. You should be ok... make sure when you change it it&#039;s not dry you can tear the skin if it&#039;s not healed all the way... i used saline nasal spray and it healed very fast make sure after you change it you keep it very clean watch it very careful for a few days just to be safe...

    it might be a bit sore the first time, but it will be fine.
