  1. The swashplate can be unlevel for a couple of reasons. The servo horns were not put on in the best position possible or the trim of the helicopter transmitter needs to be adjusted.

Idealy you want the swashplate to be perfectly level but for alot of reasons sometimes it works better when it's the opposite. Warped plastic's, linkage rods can't be adjusted further, center of gravity is not correct.... etc.

The best way to level the swash is to first set your trims on the radio to dead center then unscrew all the cyclic servo horns so the gears are showing. Now turn the power on your transmitter and helicopter (best to unplug the motor wires when doing this) and wait for all the servo's to center, now while the powers on fit all the servo horns to exactly or the best closest position to 90 degrees to the servo. now that all of them are put in the proper place s***w them back on... if any of them are not 90 degress with the servo's then adjust with the trim on your radio. once they are all level and you find your swashplate is still unlevel  it's time to tighten whichever head link/to servo rod is causing the unlevel head. All should be perfect once you've completed that step.

This is the best possible way to level the head no matter what transmitter your using and will benefit the most from while learning and when it comes time to flip the 3d (idle) switch.

    cheers
