My best friend's bf thinks i'm cute?!?

okay so, i hang out with my best friend's bf a lot cause we have like 3 classes together.

we dated for like 3 weeks in 7th grade and stuff. I'm completely over him.

now my best friend is dating him they've been together for like 3 months or so.

last week i asked him if he could go to the office with me (i don't like walking in the hallways alone) and he said he couldn't, i asked why and he said cause his gf gets jealous of me now. He said that the night before he and her had gotten in an argument cause he told her that he thinks I'm cute/hot... O_O

my best friend cried :/

she also cried the week before cause when i was walking with her and my other friend her bf walked up to me and said " heyy! you didn't wait for me!"

i need advice on what to do cause i don't wanna loose my best friend but i also dont wanna loose her bf as my friend either cause I've known him longer than i've know her/

I think your best friend needs to get over the fact that her boyfriend is allowed to have friends that are girls. She should be glad that you guys get along.

And, about him thinking your cute, he probably thinks that lots of girls at your school are cute. Just because a guy gets a girlfriend doesn't mean he doesn't think that other girls are cute.

Talk to your friend. Reassure her that you guys are just friends, and tell her that if he does get interested in you, that you wouldn't date him. (But, if its like in a year or 2, then rethink that. Because if you guys "went out" in 7th grade, isn't she doing the same to you?)

Continue to be his friend. She can't tell you who to and not to talk to and be friends with. Just be careful no to get inbetween the too.

lol. okay, i understand that you don't want to loose your bestfriend, but her crying over him about thinking your cute is so lameeee. if he kept mentioning you to her, then i guess i'd be a little worried. but whatevs.

talk to your bestfriend, and tell her that her bf and you are just friends and will always be JUST friends. if she can't get that point through her head, then, wow, LAME AGAIN.
