Ok so my best friend has been married for a little over 3 months. Her and her husband had been together for around 4 year, but the relationship was on the rocks about 6 months until the wedding. Her husband was away all the time for his job, and she began thinking that she wasn't ready to get married, that he needed more time for his work.

She went on a date (before she got married) and she fell for the guy. She was going out with him dancing, movies, etc. Well, she told me, her parents, and every that she didn't want to get married anymore. Everyone pushed and pushed and she did it.

Now, she is constantly talking about the guy (not her husband), her and her husband are unhappy and constantly fighting, she thinks she's in love with the guy. They still talk and see each other with friends, but she is seems so happy with him.

She keeps asking should she leave her husband for him? Will it work out between them if she does?

She's asks me all these questions. Please help me know what to tell her!!

  1. I guess leave him. Why not marry someone your truely in love with?

  2. Tell her only she can make that decision. It's not fair, she got herself into that situation, now she doesn't want to take responsibility for that.

  3. She got married because her parents pushed her?  That's too bad.

She should get a divorce if she's unhappy.  Who knows if it will work out with the other guy?  He might just like her because he can't have her.  There are no guarantees.

  4. She said she did not want to get married, but succumbed to the pressure and went through with it. She should leave her husband, either way. Look, Jerry Seinfeld pulled his wife on a plane to her honey moon! they are still married with a gaggle of kids.

She should have never gotten married.

Ps. this is exactly what happened when I had my first marriage, except there was no other guy. My family pressured me. I was so miserable, so so miserable. I finally left with nothing but 400 and our 2 kids. It was difficult, but worth it. She should not waste years and possibly have children to solidify the marriage. Support her through her divorce. the husband deserves better than this too.

  5. This what I mean whether chics like it or not they settle then cheat with a guy they like but would never marry.  If she does not care about marriage but love then divorce.

  6. tell her to cut the shist and treat the guy who took her down the isle for better or worse and give him the love that he deserves, if she leaves her husband well what comes around goes around and i hope she gets so screwed by this boyfriend and she goes crying back to her hubby..... sorry to be mean but that is all that goes on now in life good luck and thank god this isnt you
