My best friend didn't make try-outs but is ON the v-ball team?

My best friend is in highschool. She tries out for v-ball every year. This year she did not make the team. So her dad and older sister (jv volleyball coach @ another local HS and former volleyabll queen) talked to all 3 volleyball coaches and atletic director and now my best friend is ON THE TEAM!! even tho she DID NOT make it! is that cheating or unfair?!?!

don't worry if she is your best friend be happy for her. if she didn't make the cut she won't be playing much. If your evil you guys can shun her and try to out play her haha ha just realax take it easy and show the coach why YOU deserve to play. take it to the court!

They probably did more than talk to the coaches and Ad, they probably gave a nice donation of money to the team or atletic department.  That's how these things work!  Welcome to the reality that is preferential treatment!

It's both shes cheating herself out of hard work of trying to make the team and its unfair to the people that didn't make it because they may have tried harder and still didn't make it.

I think it is cheating, if she didn't make it, then she should practice more and then try out next year, it is also unfair to the other students! You should talk to your best friend about it! :D
