My best friend is suddenly acting like my bf...?

my best friend, who is a guy, is acting like hes dating me.

hes always with me, and hes sort of overprotective, (andits not like brotherly overprotective because i have a brother and he totally acts like that.)

he also gets really angry whenever a guy starts 2 flirt wit me or something like that.

i dont know if he likes me...i cant tell..!!!

advice!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????

Talk to him. If he's your friend, you should be able to have a conversation with him. Ask him how he feels, why he's being so protective and why he gets so angry when other guys talk to you. If he likes you and you don't feel the same, let him know, gently, that you just want to be friends.

Your best friend most likely likes you. I think he gets angry when someone flirts with you because he might ask you out sometime and he does not want you to be taken. If you don't like how he is acting then just tell him politely to stop.

If you fail to believe me, you can try just asking him. That works wonderfully.

But yes, he likes you. And, although this is a very specific statement but it does give some insight into the way you should consider this sort of thing:

"Don't marry your Girlfriend (Boyfriend), marry your BEST friend."

Which is marriage advice, but its useful anyways.

most likely he likes you, just keep observing, besides best friends (guys and girls) usually make the best couples anyways :D
