My best friend just had a baby boy.. Is a baby bangle for a boy okay?!?

My best friend is pakistani and I'm Indian by blood (though we're both very English!) and she's just had a baby boy. I wanted to get him something a bit more special.. I've bought clothes etc but it's not enough for my best friend, bare in mind I'm his godmother. I've bought him a gold baby bangle. It's almost plain with some rocking horses on. I saw a silver one, that was lovely but as my friend is more of a fan for gold, and because gold is more customary to give to a baby in India/Pakistan I bought gold. But now my mum says her baby girls had bangles but her boys didn't. Do boys wear bangles too? The silver one I saw was especially for a boy, in a little blue box.

I'd say go ahead, lovely idea. Afterall, the bangle is really for the mother, not the baby!? ;-) it makes her happy, and she will think it looks cute.

That is a lovely gift.Yes of course bangles are for boys to i know many baby boys who were bangles.

yes boys can wear bangles, some jewellers sell bangles especially for boys, i like the idea of getting the baby a bangle you can try and get it personalised as well on the inside with his name and date of birth, i think this would be a nice present and will be appreciated by your friend and something that the little boy could keep.

you can also get a blue box for the bangle as well it will show you have put the thought in to the present as well.
