My best friend lies to me about EVERYTHING!?

My best friend is like my sister, but she lies to me about everything like she's trying to impress me. She even lies about the smallest things. She'll say one thing then say something totally different a minute later. It's like she forgets her made up stories and makes up something else to cover it up. I've tried confronting her about it, but she just ignores me. And I'm not gonna just stop being her friend because we've been friends for too long and i love her too much to just stop being friends. help me pleeasee.

Had the same problem this school year. It sucks and I eventually had to drop the friend. I couldn't take the lies. But, if you really want to be her friend I would try confronting her about the problem. Best of luck. :)

If inspite of her lying to you, you still want to be her best friend, then you just have to learn to live with it. Maybe she needs professional help?
