Ok so i have this best friend and we get on and have a great time together, it doesn't matter that we are different genders. He has always dropped comments in conversation like "you are so beautiful" or "your so perfect" which i joked with him about. But now it is all the time, and the other night he said "i love you" which i told him not to because it wasn't right but he said "i really do i can't help it, it's just you" which made the whole situation difficult. But it's not just him saying stuff he tries to kiss me, and he is always touching my bum or b***s and i don't like it i don't feel the same, but i do love him but in a best friend way, and i can't not see him for a while because when i do he get worse and more touchy feely the next time i see him ...what should i do to get him to treat me as a friend again?!

  1. " what should i do to get him to treat me as a friend again?! "

Take this from someone who was in that situation once before. If he truly likes you then there is no such thing as "seeing you as a friend" even if he treats you like one he is not seeing you as one if he likes you for real. This could be a problem, but you cannot fix it. The solution to this problem for me was to cut communication completely with this girl because I knew that she could only see me as a friend and I could not see her as that only, and it certainly was not healthy to stay in that situation. The only difference here is that I never tried to touch her or kiss her like this guy-friend of yours, which makes me think that the difference is that this guy is either obsessed or a pervert. Either way, if he does like you for real I seriously doubt that he will be able to "see you" as just a friendly friend. In my experience, that's not the way it works with someone you like. This is not an answer this is a warning to you.

You should tell him clearly that he should not waste his time trying to go "there" with you because you cannot like him as more than a friend. Do this for his own good, so that he doesn't waste his time on you when there are others that might like him for real. Expect no more friendship here, and remember when you like someone for real there is no such thing as seeing them as a friendly friend it doesn't work that way.

  2. The only thing  you can do is be honest with him and tell him that it's  bothering you that he's doing this to you and tell him to stop. Tell him you love him as a best friend and nothing else.

  3. u need to tell him to back off or your not even going to be friends with him anymore...also dont talk to him and stay clear from him a while.

  4. the best thing to do is just be friends but find someone to be in love with that make you uneasy.and tell him not touch you.

  5. I would definitely say he is making you feel uncomfortable and he shouldn't be touching you inappropriately against your wishes.   If you don't feel the same way, then you need to tell him outright in a honest and serious setting.  Tell him you want to remain (best) friends and perhaps you two need time apart till he can decide that he will honor your request. Keep in mind, It's not easy having a crush on someone who doesn't like you back. He will be hurt at first and hopefully he will turn around and be friends again.

    Good Luck!
