me and my best friend have been friend for a long time ( 4 years )

anyways my moms best friend hired this babysitter it turned out to be my best friends step mom and after a month or so we found out that alan slaped one of the kids ( alan is my best friends dad ) so my moms best friend and him or fighting and rumors have spilled that alan is a perv and more rumors my best friend hannah stops talking to me what do i do i ask her what is worng she dosnt tell me write back i dont know what to do help !

Give her a few days then try asking again and act like nothing even happened and just be her friend and maybe she'll talk to you.
